Congratulations Julia and Dave.  With strong winds hitting the area of Abson, Wick (near Bath), the marquee took a nosedive the day before, and, we were told, a new one was erected just in time.  Well it looked great, with stunning surrounds, beautiful views.  With a church overlooking the garden (not THE church), and the garden overlooking windswept fields, it was a great setting for the reception.

First dance was Better, by Tom Baxter… and it just so happened that the fiddler of the night was the wonderful Jake Walker… who just so happened to have played the strings on the original track!!! We only work with the best.

By the end of the night, we’d thrown in the odd rock number for the groom (he’d have loved some heavy metal, so Nirvana sufficed).

Great crowd – and luckily, the weather held out.

Thanks you so much for looking after us – best of luck in the future!
