9700786363_dfb64f027f_bCongratulations Helen and Alex.  This was our first visit to Grayswood Village Hall.  The hall itself opened out onto the village green, where the days cricket was coming to a close.  It was a lovely village scene, and set the mood for the evenings events.  Hog roast was on the menu, so as the guests filtered out to collect their food, we setup at the far end.  After speeches, we went into the first dance – Higher Love (DJ’d), then pushed on to the set.  They were a great crowd, friendly and enthusiastic.  We played for all age ranges, then rocked it up in the second set, and the crowd followed suit.  Get Lucky kicked, as did Sex on Fire and Moves Like Jagger.  When it came to curfew, they really didn’t want us to stop (I mean they really, really wanted more), so we DJ’d a few tracks, and chatted to the guests.  Helen was incredibly kind and furnished the band with some quality wine.  They were a lovely couple, and there was a very homely and welcoming vibe throughout – and it was great to catch up with previous wedding clients, and share happy memories.

Thanks for looking after us, have a great time in Oz, best of luck in the future! [flickr-gallery mode=”photoset” photoset=”72157635441065938″]
