Congratulations Gemma and Gordon.
This was a return visit to Greyfriars for the band. It’s a lovely venue, with one of the best views, looking south of Guildford, over Godalming and across to Hindhead (and further still). It’s a fantastic look out point, and on a hot September day, with a clear blue sky, it was spectacular, with hot air balloons dotted across the landscape.
The wedding party were half Scottish, so there were kilts-a-plenty. First dance was ‘Idlers Dream’ by Oasis, which we dj’d. The crowd danced all night – it was a great atmosphere, and as could be expected, 500 miles went down a storm at the end.
Gemma and Gordon were a warm and welcoming couple – they were heading off to the USA for a honeymoon the next day. Thanks for looking after us – have a great time!
