Congratulations Emily and Chris!  The band have know Emily for a while, in her capacity as boss (along with her mum) of Two Many Cooks caterers – who happen to be one of the top caterers around.  It’s always a privilege to play a major wedding suppliers wedding / event, as these guys have seen the best and worst in the industry – and it’s testament to the fact we are actually providing a great service.  The marquee was provided by Inside Outside Marquees – another quality company, who list Rollercoaster amongst there recommended suppliers.  So it was set to be a fantastic wedding.

We arrived in the early afternoon, setting up before the church service.  We then chilled in the house / the friendly local pub until our stage time.  First dance was Lauren Platt Happy/Teardrop Mashup, DJ’d, from which we pushed on to a very lively set.  The crowd were great to play to, from the irish tunes, to the 50’s rock’n’roll, through to the modern Sex On Fire and Call Me Maybe tracks.  We were appearing as the 6 piece format (with keys, fiddle and female vocalist), so we could play a wide range… and the audience responded perfectly – in fact they pushed and pushed for more at the end – and we obliged!

It was a perfect wedding – the marquee looked stunning, with some beautiful touches, like sparkling trees, a large star cloth over the dance floor, and a centrally located bar.  Emily looked lovely – and with her husband, a perfect couple… friendly and very appreciative after the show.

It was a fantastic wedding to play – thanks for looking after us… and we’ll be seeing Emily at the next Two Many Cooks event!
