Clare had seen the band at Ramster playing her niece’s wedding… and had decided there and then that she wanted us for her big birthday party the next year. So here we were, down by the coast, playing the big 50th Birthday party.
The crowd were fun, and we threw a few jive numbers in, along with some extra fiddle tunes – which seemed to get people going. That said, as we hit the modern section later on, the dance floor erupted, bouncing up and down to the sound of ‘I Got A Feeling…(Tonight’s Gonna Be a Good Night)’…. which it certainly was!
They were a really enjoyable crowd to play to – hopefully we’ll be back in another 10 years time 😉 Thanks for looking after us – happy birthday Clare!
