60th Birthday, Marquee

I wanted to write and thankyou properly for making such a huge success of last Saturday’s party.  Everyone loved Rollercoaster, as so many of the letters and cards were received will testify; you’re all such talented musicians and made the transition between the various types of music with the utmost fluency – the Irish element was terrific, and got even the most relectant dancers onto the dancefloor! It must’ve been obvious to you how much everyone was enjoying themselves, as I don’t think the dance floor was ever less than 80% full…
The disco finally called it a day at about 3.30am, and I think I crawled into bed around 5am. I had a wonderful time from the moment it started, and it’s due in no small part to you.
