19944124131_15a51f8eed_bCongratulations Lee and Michelle.  The band have played this venue a few times now – a large ‘permanent’ Marquee, just away form the main house.  It’s a beautiful setting, with the cricket green across the lawns.  It was a hot and sunny day – a perfect summer wedding.

First dance was At Last by Etta James – played by the band, and sung by the very wonderful Holly Cowan.  It was the 5 piece band, and we had a large proportion of Irish to play too – which meant we could through in all the fiddle tunes.  We recognised Louise and James from their wedding a year before ( https://www.rollercoasterband.co.uk/weddings1/louise-and-james-wedding-reception-st-josephs-parish-centre-luton.-may-2014/ ) – which is always great to see… and we recognised a few of the guests from other gigs… making it all the more enjoyable.

As we finished the final song, the clock struck twelve, leaving the crowd crying out for more… maybe next time 😉

Thanks for looking after us – best of luck in the future!
